Be Still

So much rushing; so much doing – just be still. To be still is to stop your efforts to please and the busyness that diverts your thoughts and obscures your pain. To be still is to hear your heart and Mine. I know the former frightens you and the later overwhelms, but you cannot truly live when you are forever on the run. So be still. Let the dust settle and awareness come.

I see and I know all that you hide within, and I seek to release and heal. I came to bring freedom to captives and to open doors for those who have been taken prisoner by their own sin. I do not come to condemn.

Trust Me in the stillness to bring My healing love and My redeeming power. Yes, there will be tears of release. Yes, you will need to confront the pain and dismantle the lies, but I am here to walk you through to freedom.

As you are still, you make room for the knowledge of My heart to flood your soul. You will know that I am Love and that My heart is for you. That means that I turn all things for your good. What you face may not look or feel good, but don’t forget that I am a Creator and a Redeemer. I make paths where there appears to be no way through. I turn what was against you into an opportunity to advance you. I’ll never let go of you. I am constantly with you and long to comfort and strengthen you. You need only ask, and you will have My wisdom and My strength for all that you face. In the asking you partner with Me and receive from Me. Both are necessary to walk forward into the freedom you long for. I have called you to be an overcomer. That victory is in Me, not you. That is why you must still your heart and simply look to Me.
