Captivated

Enthralled by Your voice; captivated by Your love. How I long to live aware of You. Your world fascinates me; Your words amaze me. I long for more - to hear Your voice and to know Your heart. 

You do not think as I think. That my heart knows all too well. You do not see as I see. Yet You never tire of speaking Your truth into my soul and guiding my steps as I simply seek to follow.

I will listen for the voice I delight to hear. I will not grow weary in my pursuit of You, for every glimpse stirs me on; every revelation makes me long for more. You are my “exceeding great reward.” Such words express what my heart already knows – that You are worth pursuing more than anything else and that in gaining You, nothing else will satisfy.

One day I will see Your face. One day I will know as I am known. One day the clouds of mystery will lift, and my heart will thrill at what it beholds. For now, it is an adventure of trust - a willingness to go where I think You are leading, and follow a path, I vaguely see.
