This Joy that is Mine

I gave My life for you. I gave it willingly and joyfully, for I saw the reward of loving you. Yes, I endured anguish. Yes, I felt extreme pain, as My body became the sacrifice for your sin. But My eyes were set on a reality that none other could see. I saw redemption. I saw those who would be cleansed by My blood, standing before My Father. I saw the love they would experience and the holiness that would be theirs.

I am love. I find no greater joy than giving full expression of who I am in loving you. It was not your choice; it was Mine. I chose the nails; I chose the beating. I chose the sacrifice, for only by paying fully for your sin could I draw you into the rich fellowship of the Trinity.

Our love for each other is passionate and full of great zeal. We serve and honor each other. We bring you into that circle of love and devotion. There you can know the joy that we have in your freedom from sin - your restoration from all that has hindered and marred, and the fellowship of walking with Us. We love you fully, passionately, and without restraint. Eternity will reveal the depth of that love and the joy that is Mine in saving you.
