I See the Blood

Yes, I know of your failures and am aware of your sin, but I see the blood that was shed to make you clean. I hear your cries for forgiveness and your lament over failure, but you fail to see as I see. I see the blood.  

I see the love that did not draw back when the price must be paid. I see the Son of My love, who gave Himself freely for you. Do not treat lightly what cost so dearly. I turned My eyes and hid My face from Him. I had laid on Him your sin and your condemnation. Then I judged that sin in His body, the body of My only begotten, much-loved Son. I did that so you could be free. I did that with a heart that broke over the suffering of My Son. We did that, for we longed to bring you home. 

Do not look at what you are not. Look at who He is. He is everything that you are destined to be. The price has been paid and your future secured by the precious blood that flowed freely from His heart of love. 

I will never cease exalting the sacrifice of My Son. It is His blood that will forever testify of His love, and your worth. When you are tempted to see only your sin and your failure, close your eyes to those things and begin to see as I see, for I see the blood.
