Seeking Without Striving

Seeking without striving is keeping your eyes fixed on Me, not you. Every time you look at yourself, you become aware of lack. That robs you of faith and causes you to strive. When however, you behold My love and My goodness, your heart rejoices and you receive of My fullness. So, seek Me, but do not strive in doing so.

Keep your mind set on who I am and keep your heart thankful. Thankfulness keeps striving at bay and stays your thoughts on Me. Practice thanksgiving and give yourself to worship and praise. I declare in My word that it will bring you into My presence. Thanksgiving will do so because it exalts who I am and you lose sight of your own shortcomings and failures.

You are my workmanship and I will complete what I have started. When you look at a half-finished project you often fail to see what it is becoming. You fail to see your beauty for you only see the mess of process.

So, relax. Know that I will perfect what I have started. Rejoice in My love and walk with Me as a friend. Seek Me and enjoy Me, but do not strive, for it will hinder the beauty of encounter and cloud your perception of who I am.
