Give Me Your Ashes

You gave Me the pain and learned of My comfort. You gave Me the resent and learned how to forgive. Now it is time to give Me your ashes. As you do, I will teach you the power of My resurrection. I will reveal to you and through you, what restoration looks like.

I take what the enemy did and turn it for good. I bring beauty out of ashes. Who I am, is what I have for you. All that I am, is your supply. Find the joy of being fully immersed in My love. Let it cleanse you, propel you and delight you.

I have removed all of your sin and shame, so do not hold back, but draw near. As you come to Me, I will remove the debris of seasons past, the disappointments, the weights, the unkind comments and the expectations of others. There is much that has clung to you and has been revealed in your thoughts and your emotions. I want to wash those things from you and clothe you anew with the glory that belongs to this next season: a season for you to enter into and enjoy.

I love to create the beautiful and redemptive out of what was broken and lost. It is the seed that dies, that brings forth the new. It is the heart that surrenders the hurt and pain, that sees the fruit of their trust, in the transformation that I bring. I do not take pleasure in seeing pain and destruction. But I do enjoy transforming heartache to rejoicing, destruction to restoration, and ashes to beauty. So do not think that the journey is over. Look beyond what happened; see past the pain, and believe for beauty to be revealed, and restoration to begin.
