Still Your Heart

Still your heart before you face your day. Draw near to Me in sweet communion and enjoy the peace of My presence, before you face the demands of the day. Too many times My people turn to the activity and challenges of their day before they have stilled their heart in Mine. Frantic to meet needs, they lose sight of My companionship and empowerment.

How it saddens My heart to see My people struggle alone with burdens that I can easily carry. They are overwhelmed by pressure and worry, while I stand close by watching and waiting for their heart to turn and their eyes to see. My heart is always for you. My presence is always with you and My strength and wisdom is constantly available to you.

Why struggle alone when I am here? Why do it your way and trade the joy and peace of My presence for the fleeting moments of success and the constant demand to perform? I am your rest; I am your wisdom. All that you need is made freely available to you. When you do not seek me first, the day easily clouds your vision and dulls your awareness of Me. But when you seek Me you find all that you need for your day.
