When Jesus returns, His reward will be with Him. He will generously reward all that is of Him and remove all that is not. None of us will be left holding for eternity something that we regret, wrongly pursued, or mistakenly entertained.

Our Heavenly Father gently calls us to be with Him before life stirs and activity floods our world. Before the dawn, we savour the presence of One who floods our soul with light. We watch as He imparts the brilliance of His love, across the contours of our day.

Love is so highly prized by God that He created man with the ability to choose it or ignore it.

“Mediocreville” - it's close enough to Egypt to ensure we can reach for the “garlic and leeks” of our choice. Yet it is far enough away to convince us that we are safe in our salvation.

All of us have places we go in our mind - places made familiar because we have been there so many times.

Today, so much vies for our time. The “to do” lists are long, and the responsibilities seem large. In the midst of it all, we can lose the awareness of His still small voice.
